Concepting, Interaction, Graphic and Web Design.

Sketchlab.nl came to life as part of my Bachelor Thesis “Sketchlab – a platform for modernizing of tablet sketching education”. Sketchlab’s mission was to bring accessible, cost effective and engaging tablet sketch education to Industrial Design students.  Sketch education is no longer a single course event, but an ongoing ritual troughout one’s study. Modern students are fluent in modern technology and by aggregating technologies such as Flickr, Youtube, forum and Facebook like features into a single domain we’ve developped an inspiring and interesting educational environment that should support students throughout their educational career.

As for 2013 the University of Twente has selected Google apps as its provider for student email. Along Gmail came Google+ and Drive and we’ve moved the Sketchlab community to Google+ and closed the community on Sketchlab.nl.
